Here at Davidsons we pride ourselves on our community involvement, and in giving back to the communities in which we live and work. Family and Community is a core value of Davidsons and we take great pride in living and breathing our values as they guide how we operate.
Some of the ways in which we give back include;
- Contributing to the economic prosperity of the community when we help our clients to operate successful, thriving businesses
- Providing pro-bono accounting and consultancy services to charities, foundations and community groups, where a Davidsons team member has a direct involvement
- Encouraging and supporting our staff to participate in charity events
- Supporting fundraising activities
- Sponsoring local organisations
Our sponsorships and corporate affiliations with organisations within the Geelong region enable us to give back to the community who have supported us since we were established in 1905.
Over the past few years Davidsons has proudly sponsored the Royal Geelong Yacht Club, aligning two great Geelong organisations. This has allowed us to be involved in many events together, including the Festival of Sails, naming rights partner of the “Davidsons Winter Series Cup (the keel boat race series that runs from May through to August annually) and Wednesday twilight sailing nights.
