What is your role at Davidsons? 

I’m a Senior Accountant at Davidsons, specialising in Personal Tax Returns, Sole Traders, Capital Gains Tax (CGT), and Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT). 

What made you choose accounting as a career? 

I chose accounting because it’s a world of logic and order — a perfect match for how I think and operate. I genuinely enjoy working with clients and find helping them both interesting and rewarding. 

No matter how long you’ve been in the profession, accounting is constantly evolving, and there’s always something new to learn. That’s what keeps me engaged and inspired. 

Why do your clients love you? 

Clients appreciate my broad experience, practical approach, and strong listening skills. I focus on understanding their needs, so I can tailor my service to what matters most to them. 

I’m known for cutting through the noise and getting to the point quickly when needed — which gives clients clarity and peace of mind, so they can focus on what’s important beyond tax. 

How would the team describe you? 

“Delila is professional, efficient, and has a strong work ethic. She brings a positive attitude to everything she does and builds great relationships with both clients and team members.” 

What is something people might not know about you? 

Something many people don’t know is that I’ve proudly called Australia home since 1994 — and I feel very fortunate for it. 

How do you spend your weekends?

What I would like to say is relaxing with a good book, a glass of red, gardening, or catching up with family and friends, day trips. In reality, it’s more like family time, plenty of dog walks, and squeezing in housework wherever I can! 

What do you love about working at Davidsons? 

I find joy in servicing clients and helping them improve their financial wellbeing — and at Davidsons, that’s what we do every day. 

What I love most is that no day is ever the same. I’ve been with the firm for over 12 years (with a short break in between) and in that time I’ve built many lasting relationships with both clients and colleagues.
