Troy Nolan is a Manager of our Tax and Business Services team based in our Geelong Office. Troy is an experienced Accountant who prides himself on building strong client relationships to enable him to understand client’s goals and objectives to work with them in achieving future financial success.

Troy works with a diverse client base, ranging from Sole Traders through to large family businesses. To him every business has opportunities to improve and grow through the assistance of professional advisory support.

A key component of achieving client’s financial success is grounded in a strong knowledge base which Troy has sought to implement through his professional development. Troy has developed his skills and knowledge in Small Business CGT Concessions, Structure Advice, Personal Service Income (PSI) and Tax Compliance.

Troy has a strong connection with the local community in his involvement with St Josephs Cricket Club where he started playing cricket in the “Milo have a go” program and continues to participate in the clubs senior grades. He grew up in Belmont and completed his High School studies at St Josephs College, then jetted off to the UK to play a season of Cricket in Yorkshire and travel Europe. Through these travels he developed key life skills being exposed to a broad range of experiences which has shaped him as a professional.

Troy has a strong connection to family, with he and his wife Renae having recently welcomed their first child, Annabel to their family.

Troy joined Davidsons as a graduate accountant in 2016 commencing straight out of University. Troy’s career has progressed over this time with a focus on personal development as well as building client relationships. Troy has been part of the Davidsons Leadership Committee since 2019, our HR Portfolio and previously held the role of firm Santa.

Troy was promoted to Manager in July 2022 and holds a CPA qualification and a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Management and Accounting from Deakin University.
