Davidsons Managing Director Justin McGrath is proud to announce significant changes to our leadership team, marking a new chapter in our 119-year history.
Appointment of five new equity partners
Following the retirement of former audit director Stephen Wight and the appointment of Lucy Patridge, who has stepped into the audit director role, we’re excited to welcome five of our long-standing managers into our equity ownership group.
Our new equity partners are:
- Lucy Partridge: Director, Audit and Assurance Services
- Simon Abbott: Manager, Self-Managed Superannuation Funds
- Carolyn Grills-Harte: Manager, Business Advisory Services
- Daniel Neeson: Manager, Tax and Business Services
- Michael Rebula: Manager, Tax and Business Services.
This is our first expansion of equity ownership since 2007, reflecting our commitment to recognising and developing internal talent.
“While Stephen Wight’s retirement represents the end of an era at Davidsons, we’re excited about this new direction,” says Justin McGrath. “These leaders have been instrumental in our growth over the past five years. They’ve consistently demonstrated their ability to navigate challenges and drive the business forward, particularly during the COVID-19 period, and they’ve absolutely earned the opportunity to take equity in the firm.”
“We’re fortunate to have such a stable and talented management team. This move recognises their contributions and ensures we continue to evolve and provide growth opportunities within our firm.”
The appointments also strengthen gender diversity in our leadership, increasing female representation in our equity ownership group.
Looking to the future
The changes represent a new phase for Davidsons. By broadening our equity ownership, we’re ensuring Davidsons continues to evolve while maintaining the stability and expertise our clients value.
“We’re excited to see how this next generation of Davidsons leaders will bring fresh perspectives and continue to grow our organisation,” Justin adds.
We congratulate our new equity partners and look forward to the ideas and energy they’ll bring to our leadership team. Their appointments, along with Lucy’s new role as audit director, position us strongly for continued growth and success.
We thank our clients for their ongoing trust and support. As always, we remain committed to providing the highest quality services and look forward to continuing to meet your needs under our expanded leadership team.
