Our Story
The Business now known as Davidsons was established by Mr. George Wheatland. In the early 1900’s he was joined by Mr. V.L Davidson and in 1913 the firm’s name became Wheatland & Davidson. Relocating to what was then “Theatre Chambers” in Ryrie Street in the mid 20’s, the firm’s name was changed to Victor L. Davidson & Company late in that decade with the retirement of Mr. G Wheatland.
Progress bought changes as well. In 1971 the firm left the premises it had occupied for some 46 years and moved to Quamby Chambers in Aberdeen Street, Geelong.
In keeping with this demand, we relocated to modern premises at 101 West Fyans Street, Geelong and in addition, we expanded to Torquay.
This is testimony to our commitment in providing the most effective accounting services to our clients for our anticipated expansion in the future…diversifying and growing with those we serve, not only in Geelong but from the Western District, through-out Victoria and Interstate.
